Vietnam extends program of e-visa with Azerbaijan for two more years

The government of Vietnam has approved the program of e-visa for foreigners from 46 countries, including for Azerbaijan, for two more years.

According to Report, the cost of electronic tourist visa makes $25.

The visa is valid for 30 days.

Tourists can apply for visa at evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn. The applicants will get notification about issuance or rejection of visa issuance within 3 working days.

The program was launched on February 1, 2017 as a pilot project and it was to be valid until February 2019. But now its term has been extended.

The electronic visa program was first open for tourists from 40 countries and later six countries joined it.

Statistics of Vietnam's national tourism administration showed that more than 241,000 foreign tourists visited Vietnam on electronic visa in the first eight months of the year.

Earlier it was reported that Azerbaijani citizens will be able to visit Vietnam on electronic visa.
