Foreign Hackers Attack Websites of Azerbaijani Government Agencies

Cyberattacks targeting the state information infrastructure of the Republic of Azerbaijan were recorded at around 10 p.m. on October 13, 2026.
According to a statement by Azerbaijan’s State Service for Special Communication and Information Security, the attack was carried out by a foreign hacker group.
The statement noted that more than 100 government domains belonging to Azerbaijan’s state information infrastructure were targeted.
As a result of the cyberattack, some government websites experienced service disruptions.
Technical measures were taken to limit the impact of the attack and ensure the uninterrupted operation of the websites.
The State Service said that efforts to ensure cybersecurity are ongoing.
