Suleiman Karimov's confiscated superyacht converted into floating office

Abbas Sajwani, son of Dubai billionaire and businessman Hussain Sajwani, known as the "Donald Trump of Dubai," purchased the superyacht Amadea, confiscated by US authorities, and converted it into a floating office.
According to Yeniavaz.com, citing Forbes, 27-year-old Abbas Sajwani hosted guests on the 106-meter yacht Amadea in early June ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix.
AHS Properties, headed by the businessman, whose net worth is estimated at approximately $1.9 billion, recently purchased the Shangri-La Dubai hotel for $300 million.
Amadea, built in 2017 by the German shipyard Lurssen, was designed for Russian billionaire Suleiman Karimov.
In May 2022, the yacht was stored in the port of Lautoka, Fiji, and then transported to the United States. Following legal proceedings, the US Department of Justice put the vessel up for sale through a secret auction. Abbas Sajwani won the auction last September, beating his competitor by just $1 million. The yacht is currently valued at approximately $250 million.
The six-deck yacht, Amadea, boasts luxurious amenities. It features a gold elevator that runs between decks, a Greek marble bar, a handcrafted Pleyel grand piano, a 10-meter swimming pool, an underwater bar, an open-air cinema, and a helipad.
Abbas Sajwani said that for him, a yacht is more than just a vacation: "Many people go on a yacht for vacation. For me, it's a place to live and work."
