List of cars with the biggest price increases and decreases over the past 6 months


Prices for a number of new car models in Azerbaijan have changed significantly over the past 6 months.
According to Yeniavaz.com, citing Statix, the most expensive new car over the past 6 months was the Toyota Corolla. The model's price increased from 32,900 manat to 39,500 manat. This means the price of the Toyota Corolla has increased by 6,600 manat, or 20.1 percent, over the past 6 months.
It should be noted that the calculation did not compare the median price of the entire market, but rather models listed in at least 5 ads on both dates.
According to the results, the Toyota Corolla Cross saw the second largest increase. The price of this car increased from 38,000 manat to 44,500 manat. This is an increase of 6,500 manat, or 17.1 percent. The Toyota Highlander ranked third. Its price increased from 93,500 manat to 108,000 manat, a 15.5 percent increase.
The Chevrolet Cobalt saw the largest price reduction, dropping from 20,000 manat to 17,000 manat. This represents a 3,000 manat reduction, or 15 percent.
The Nissan Qashqai saw the second largest price reduction, dropping from 57,900 manat to 50,150 manat. This represents a 7,750 manat reduction, or 13.4 percent.
The Hyundai Elantra ranked third. Its price dropped from 38,900 manat to 35,000 manat, a 10 percent decrease.
According to data from July 2026, the most expensive model included in the analysis is the Mercedes GLS 450 4MATIC, priced at 236,020 manat.
The cheapest new car is the Chevrolet Cobalt, priced at 17,000 manat.
Further down the table are models such as the BYD Qin Plus (22,800 manat), BYD Seal 05 (22,500 manat), and LADA (VAZ) Niva (23,500 manat).
The analysis shows that of the 40 new car models included in the comparison, 22 saw a price increase, while 18 saw a price decrease.
