Yeniavaz.com reports, citing official data, that wages in the oil and gas sector were 4,534.6 manat, while in the non-oil and gas sector, they were 1,111.5 manat.
Wages of employees at state-owned enterprises were 1,152.5 manat, while those at private enterprises were 1,191.3 manat.
It should be noted that the lowest wages were recorded in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. The average monthly wage of employees in these sectors was 744.1 manat.
The highest wages in the public sector were paid in the financial and insurance sector. The average monthly salary of workers in this sector was 4,977.7 manat. The lowest figure in the public sector was recorded in administrative and support services, with the average monthly salary in this sector being 720.5 manat.
In the non-state sector, the highest wages were observed in the mining industry. In the private sector, workers in this sector received an average salary of 5,189.2 manat. The lowest figure was recorded in public administration, defense, and social security, with the average monthly salary in the private sector in this sector being 684.9 manat.
