
The number of people with a net worth over $30 million—the so-called "super-rich"—is growing rapidly worldwide.

The report presents changes in the number of people with a net worth over $30 million from 2021 to 2026, both in number and percentage terms.
In absolute numbers, the United States leads the way. Over the past five years, the number of "super-rich" individuals in that country has increased by approximately 67,000. Compared to China, which ranks second, the growth in the United States is almost three times higher.

Experts believe that in the US, the depth of capital markets and the strength of the tech sector are creating the conditions for rapid wealth growth. In China, the main drivers are considered to be access to natural resources, trade opportunities, and industrial potential.
While the US leads in absolute numbers, the situation is different in percentage terms. Poland was the country where the number of "super-rich" people grew the fastest, with a 109% increase over the past five years. Qatar and Türkiye are also among the top three.
