Yeniavaz.com, citing official data, reports that the price of sold beef decreased by 2 manat 20 kopecks, or 31%, compared to the previous year.
It should be noted that in 2024, the price of one kilogram of beef sold by private households was 7 manat. Last year, beef that cost 4 manat 80 kopecks was sold by private entrepreneurs for 6 manat 7 kopecks. In 2024, the selling price of beef was 8 manat 30 kopecks. For reference, last year, private entrepreneurs recorded beef sales in 22 cities and districts. The district with the lowest price for beef was Yevlakh District, where the price per kilogram was 2 manat.
The region with the highest price for beef was Khazar District, where the price per kilogram was 9 manat 50 kopecks.
It should also be noted that last year, the retail price of bone-in beef in Azerbaijan was 15 manat 10 kopecks.
These data indicate that in 2025, the retail price of beef in Azerbaijan will be 3.1 times higher than the cost price.
