In the first two months of this year, Azerbaijan imported 331.18 tons of perfume and eau de toilette from abroad, worth a total of $6,549,390.
According to Yeniavaz.com, citing official data, the average customs value of 1 kilogram of imported perfume was approximately $19.8 (33.6 manat).
It should be noted that Azerbaijan imported the most perfume and eau de toilette from China and the United Arab Emirates. China ranked first in terms of import volume, with 145.71 tons of products.
The volume and value of imported perfume and eau de toilette from other countries were distributed as follows:
From China, 1 gram for 0.01 manat – a total of 145.71 tons;
From the United Arab Emirates, 1 gram for 0.02 manat – 79.42 tons;
From Russia, 1 gram for 0.03 manat – 27.78 tons;
From Turkey: 1 gram for 0.02 manat – 27.12 tons;
From France: 1 gram for 0.17 manat – 26.05 tons;
From Spain: 1 gram for 0.11 manat – 8.62 tons;
From Italy: 1 gram for 0.10 manat – 6.05 tons;
From Poland: 1 gram for 0.03 manat – 4.67 tons;
From Belarus: 1 gram for 0.04 manat – 4.08 tons;
From Switzerland: 1 gram for 0.40 manat – 0.55 tons;
From Germany: 1 gram for 0.09 manat – 0.49 tons;
From the US: 1 gram for 0.17 manat – 0.33 tons;
