In the first 10 months of this year, Azerbaijan exported 90,437,800 chicken eggs, worth a total of $6,466,300.
According to Yeniavaz.com, citing official data, the average customs value of one exported egg was 7.15 cents (approximately 12 kopecks).
By comparison, egg exports increased by 22%, or 16,296,000 eggs, compared to the same period last year.
It should be noted that the customs value of one exported egg this year was approximately 15%, or 2 kopecks, higher than last year. Thus, in the first 10 months of last year, the average customs value of one egg sold abroad was over 14 kopecks.

In the first 10 months of this year, eggs were exported to six countries: the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Gambia, Qatar, and Sierra Leone:
- To the United Arab Emirates - 54,527,760 eggs (1 egg - 0.144 kopecks)
- To the United States - 33,499,440 eggs (1 egg - 0.108 kopecks)
- To Iraq - 360,000 eggs (1 egg - 0.99 kopecks)
- To Gambia - 898,560 eggs (1 egg - 0.104 kopecks)
- To Qatar - 360,000 eggs (1 egg - 0.144 kopecks)
- To Sierra Leone - 792,000 eggs (1 egg - 0.109 kopecks)
As a reminder, in November of this year, the retail price of 1 egg was The price of a chicken egg on the domestic market in Azerbaijan was 19 kopecks. Compared to the beginning of the year, the price of chicken eggs on the domestic market has increased by approximately 20%.
