An error was made in the interactive information section on the homepage of the official website of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (Gachginkom) - idp.gov.az.
Yeniavaz.com reports that the map in the interactive information section shows the current economic and administrative regions.
Please note that this section provides information about the regional branches of Gachginkom.
However, the map provided by Gachginkom, which contains interactive information, does not indicate one of Azerbaijan's regions – the Aghdere district.
It should be noted that after the liberation of Azerbaijani lands from occupation, the administrative divisions of the Aghdam, Kelbajar, and Tartar districts were partially changed, and the Aghdere district, with its center in the city of Aghdere, was formed. In this regard, the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On the Establishment of the Aghdere District" was adopted and approved by President Ilham Aliyev on December 5, 2023.
Subsequently, on December 27, 2023, the President of Azerbaijan signed a decree implementing this law and regulating certain issues arising from it.
It should also be noted that official statistics now include information on the Aghdere District.
