Are people still coming to Azerbaijan from the ancient empire? – The Committee's unusual statement

Last year, 459 citizens of Habeshistan arrived in Azerbaijan.
Yeniavaz.com
reports that the State Statistics Committee announced this.
According to published statistics, while 190 people from Habeshistan arrived in Azerbaijan in 2023, last year their number increased 2.4 times, reaching 459.
It should be noted that no state named "Habeshistan" currently exists.
As a reminder, the name "Habeshistan" refers to an ancient region that included the territories of modern-day Ethiopia and Eritrea. In ancient and medieval times, the state—the empire—that existed in this territory was called "Habeshistan" in Eastern sources and "Abyssinia" in Western sources.
In the modern era, this territory is now home to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. In other words, "Habeshistan" is a historical and geographical concept, not a modern state. This is why the data published by the State Statistics Committee appears unclear.
