The number of actual employees (under employment contracts) at the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) last year was 12,440.
Yeniavaz.com reports, citing official data, that four of these employees are foreigners and stateless individuals.
It should be noted that last year, SOCAR's wage bill for hired employees, in cash and in kind, amounted to 327,914,600 manat. The monthly wage bill per employee was 2,197 manat.
The wage bill for hired foreign employees and stateless individuals amounted to 213,700 manat. The monthly wage bill per employee at SOCAR was 4,450 manat.
