
Lithuania ranks first in nominal average monthly salary among the former USSR and regional countries.
Yeniavaz.com reports with reference to the popular portal “Tradingeconomics”, the average monthly salary in Lithuania was 2685 dollars (2336 euros).
Estonia is in second place after Lithuania. The average monthly salary in this country was 2062 dollars (2370 euros).
Azerbaijan ranks 11th on this list. The average monthly salary in Azerbaijan was 614 dollars (1044 manats).
In Armenia, the average monthly nominal salary was 116 dollars higher than in Azerbaijan. Thus, the average monthly salary in Armenia was 730 dollars (284,532 drams).
The average monthly nominal wage in the former USSR and the countries of the region was:
Lithuania - 2,336 euros (2,685 dollars);
Estonia - 2,062 euros (2,370 dollars);
Turkey - 59,200 lira (1,546 dollars);
Latvia - 1,325 euros (1,523 dollars);
Russia - 88,981 rubles (1,094 dollars);
Moldova - 15,024 (868 US dollars);
Kazakhstan - 434,982 tenge (840 dollars);
Georgia - 2,218 lari (809 dollars);
Belarus - 2,428 rubles (742 dollars);
Armenia - 284,532 drams (730 dollars);
Azerbaijan - 1,044 manats (614 dollars);
Kyrgyzstan – 39,342 som (452 dollars);
Tajikistan – 2,960 somani (280 dollars).
It should also be noted that information on the former USSR and the countries of the region – Iran, Turkmenistan and Ukraine – is not disclosed. The latest information on Uzbekistan is not included in the list, since it dates back to 2023.
