At the same time, a person who spent 500 manats in August last year, spent 507.5 manats in August this year (an increase of 1.5%). This means that in August this year this person did not buy food products for 7.5 manats, unlike in August last year. It should also be noted that compared to the same period last year, more non-food products could be bought in August this year. Thus, non-food products, which cost 500 manats in August last year, became more expensive (inflation 1.8%) and amounted to 509 manats in August this year. At the same time, the same person who spent 500 manats in August last year, spent 532 manats in August this year (an increase of 6.4%). This means that in August this year this person bought more non-food products (worth 23 manats) than in August last year.
