How much have food prices increased over the past 10 years? – Prices

Over the past 10 years, Azerbaijan has seen sharp increases in prices for a number of food products, such as butter, corn oil, rice and tea.
A study by Yeniavaz.com shows that price increases have been recorded for the vast majority of basic food products.
Compared to 10 years ago, prices only for cabbage, potatoes and greens have decreased slightly.
Over the past 10 years, prices for butter, rice and tea have increased 3 times, and for meat, bread and cheese - almost 2 times. The table below compares average prices for a range of staple foods 10 years ago - February 2014 - and 10 years later - February 2024:
