presents the profile of Farid Akhmedov:
F.Akhmedov was born in 1979 in Baku. In 2000, he graduated from Baku State University with a degree in Jurisprudence, and in 2002 received a master's degree in international law. In 2003, as a Chevening Scholar, he received an MA in International Human Rights from the University of Essex, England.
In 2009, he attended the University of Oxford in England to complete his doctoral studies as a Weidenfeld Scholar, and in 2016 received his JD from the same university.
In 2006-2007, he worked as a consultant in the department of administrative and military legislation of the Milli Majlis.
In 2015-2017, he worked as the rector of Azerbaijan University, and in 2017-2020, he worked as deputy general director of Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC.
In 2021, he was appointed advisor to the Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, and in 2022 - deputy.
F. Akhmedov is also a professor at the Faculty of Law at ADA University.
Married, speaks Russian and English.
