
CJSC “El-Oba” (TIN-1005876511) became the winner of the tender conducted by the Department of Economic Accounting for Construction and Supply of the Ministry of Science and Education.
Yeniavaz.com reports that El-Oba CJSC, by order of the Ministry of Science and Education, will provide meals to all preschool educational institutions located in Binagadi, Narimanov, Nasimi, Sabunchu, Khatai and Yasamal districts of Baku during 2024.
The Ministry will pay El-Oba CJSC 32 million 872 thousand 633 manats 71 kopecks for food.
For information, El-Oba JSC was registered on April 23, 2019. The legal address of the CJSC with an authorized capital of 2000 manats is located at the address: Yeni Yashaish site, Bilajary CTS, Binagadi district, building 6, Baku city. The legal representative of the CJSC is Niftiev Vusal Mashalla oglu.
It should be noted that JSC “El-Oba” became the winner of a similar tender held by the Ministry of Science and Education last year - 2023. In 2023, this company supplied food products to all preschool educational institutions located in the Binagadi and Narimanov districts of Baku, and received in return 11 million 109 thousand 16 manats and 17 kopecks.
There is no information in open sources about El-Oba CJSC, which has won a tender of the Ministry of Science and Education in the amount of 44 million manats over the past 2 years. There is no information about the company’s official website or social media accounts.
From the published financial statements it is known that the company operated at a loss for 2 out of 3 years after state registration. El-Oba JSC received a loss in the amount of 399 thousand 934 manats in 2020, and 339 thousand 268 manats in 2021. In 2022, the company’s profit amounted to 446 thousand 936 manats.
It should also be noted that in December 2022, the Food Safety Agency (AQTA) reported that JSC El-Oba, operating in the catering industry, was denied food safety registration because it did not meet the requirements of relevant sanitary standards and regulations.
However, it is interesting that the company that was refused a food safety registration by AQTA won the Department of Science and Education's $11 million food-related tender on the same dates - December 2022.
