The Main Department of Regional Architecture and Urban Planning of Karabakh under the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture gave permission for the construction of a hotel-congress center in Shusha.

The information indicates that the Main Directorate of Regional Architecture and Urban Planning of Karabakh under the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture allows the construction of a hotel-congress center based on document No. TI-33/23 dated September 4, 2023.
From the information it follows that on February 10, 2023, expert opinion No. 3-35-2/2-520/2023 was issued on the compliance of urban planning documentation, and on March 14, 2023, expert opinion No. BER-22/082 was issued on the construction project.
It is reported that the area permitted for construction of the hotel-congress center is 11,289.63 square meters, with a total area of 28,977.18 square meters. meters, and the number of floors will be 4.
However, it should be noted that the foundation of the 4-story hotel-congress center, the construction of which was approved in the city of Shusha last month, was laid two years ago, on August 29, 2021. After almost two years of construction, the Shusha hotel and congress complex was officially opened on May 10 this year.
For information, we also note that Article 4.2 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated January 12, 2015 “Content of information included in the State Register of Buildings, Rules for the submission of such information and maintenance of the register” clearly states that the body issuing a construction permit registers documents and information in book of registers within 3 working days from the date of their entry.
Apparently, the State Committee for Urban Development and Architecture approved the construction of a hotel-congress center 3 months after its completion.
