Two Azerbaijani powerlifters have taken four medals, including two golds at the Para Powerlifting World Championships 2023 held in Dubai, the UAE, Yeniavaz.com informs, citing National Paralympic Committee.
Azerbaijan`s Talib Zeynalov (+107kg) secured two silver medals both in the individual and general weight categories, respectively, after lifting 160kg and 307kg.
Another athlete Leyla Karimova claimed two gold medals in the +86kg weight class after lifting 78kg (individual category) and a total of 595kg.
