Number of unemployed in Azerbaijan announced - Officially

As of May 1 this year, 293.2 thousand people in Azerbaijan were unemployed.
The calculation made by Yeniavaz.com with reference to the published official data shows that the number of unemployed in the country has decreased by 9 thousand people or 3% over the past 5 months since the beginning of this year.
It should also be noted that according to information at the beginning of this month, the number of economically active population amounted to 5 million 203.9 thousand people, of which 4 million 910.7 thousand people are employed (working).
It should be noted that at the beginning of 2021, the number of unemployed in Azerbaijan reached the highest level in the last 19 years.
