
Over the first 4 months of this year, electricity production in Azerbaijan increased by 612 million kWh or 6.6% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 9852.1 million kWh.
Yeniavaz.com reports citing published official data, the sources accounted for 94% or 9,266.1 million kWh of electricity generated by thermal power plants (TPPs) and 6% or 586 million kWh of renewable energy.
