In January-March of this year, 370 traffic accidents occurred in Azerbaijan, which is 8.2% less than in the corresponding period of 2022, and the number of victims of these accidents decreased by 10.3% to 499 people.

Vehicles and pedestrians were involved in 38.4% of all traffic accidents, several vehicles in 38.4%, and one vehicle in 23.2%. Men accounted for 74% of those killed and 71.8% of those injured in traffic accidents.
There were 13 accidents resulting in death or injury as a result of drunk driving, resulting in the death of 3 people and 16 people were injured.
