For the first 2 months of this year, the average monthly nominal wages of workers in Azerbaijan amounted to 854.5 manats.
Yeniavaz.com reports citing official information, wages in the oil and gas sector amounted to 3,110.1 manats, and in the non-oil sector - 810.9 manats. The wages of working at state enterprises amounted to 811.3 manats, and at private enterprises - 903.1 manats.
Average monthly nominal wages in the mining industry, financial and insurance activities, professional, scientific and technical activities, information and communications, construction, as well as in the field of transport and warehousing were higher than the national average.
The highest wages were recorded in the non-state sector of the mining industry - 3,475.9 manats per month, and the lowest wages were recorded in the field of social security in the non-state sector - 389.8 manats per month.
In addition, the average monthly nominal salary in the field of education was 665.8 manats, in construction - 1013.8 manats, in the field of finance and insurance - 2028.4 manats, in the field of trade - 613.7 manats, in the field of information and communication - 1398.4 manats.
