Suspicious companies importing counterfeit motor oil into Azerbaijan - List

The State Service for Antimonopoly Supervision and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy is investigating 2 companies - "AUTODOC AS COMPANY" LLC (TIN 1007518581) and "VIKSON AZ SERVİS" LLC (TIN 1604302471) on the fact of selling counterfeit motor oils.
Yeniavaz.com reports citing information released by the service, an investigation is underway on signs of the use of false information about the manufacturer and country of origin on the packaging of imported and sold motor oils, as well as trademarks that are not suitable for these products.
During the investigation, signs of violation of the requirements of the second and fifth paragraphs of Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On unfair competition" were found, and a criminal case was initiated against the companies.
It is reported that the cases will be considered on April 10 and 17.
For information, "VIKSON AZ SERVİS" LLC, which is suspected of violating the law, was registered on February 18, 2021. The legal address of the company with an authorized capital of 10 manats is located at Mashadi Hilal Kazimov, house 40. Currently, this company has a tax debt to the state budget in the amount of 2,616 manats 41 kopecks.
LLC "AUTODOC AS COMPANY" was registered with the state authorities on 01.04.2022. The legal address of the company with an authorized capital of 50 manats: Binagadi district, 20 January, building 1, apt. 25.
One of the remarkable facts about "VIKSON AZ SERVİS" LLC and "AUTODOC AS COMPANY" LLC is that hundreds of companies have recently been registered at the state registration address of this company. The legal representatives of many of these companies were also the same persons.
It should also be noted that these companies are united not only by the fact that they are registered at the same address. The similarity in company names also shows that these companies have some kind of relationship with each other.
However, shortly after registration, these companies won numerous tenders held by government agencies.
