"Bank of Azerbaijan" OJSC, which is currently in the process of liquidation, filed a lawsuit against "Cahan-İnşaat" LLC, "Cahan-Motors" LLC and "Cahan-Pen" LLC.
Yeniavaz.com reports, that the lawsuit against all three companies was submitted to the judge of the Nakhchivan Commercial Court Elshan Salmanov.
Claims put forward by "Bank of Azerbaijan" are related to disputes under the loan agreement.
For information, the license of "Bank of Azerbaijan" OJSC was canceled in 2016. The bank's main shareholders include "ZQAN Holding", owned by Anar Mammadov, son of former transport minister Ziya Mammadov, and prominent businessman Hafiz Mammadov, nicknamed "Hafka".
The companies against which the case was filed are reportedly owned by the "Cahan Holding" group of companies owned by Seymur Talibov, the son of former Nakhchivan Supreme Assembly chairman Vasif Talibov, who resigned last week.
It should also be noted that the Nakhchivan Commercial Court has not previously initiated a single case against companies associated with Vasif Talibov.
