We buy natural gas in Turkmenistan for $125 and sell to Greece for $1333 - List


For the first 9 months of this year, Azerbaijan has sold 16 billion 552 million 772.3 thousand cubic meters of natural gas to foreign countries.
Yeniavaz.com reports, that the total cost of natural gas sold abroad amounted to 12 billion 102 million 516.1 thousand dollars.
As can be seen from the figures, the average customs value of 1,000 cubic meters of exported natural gas was $731.1.
We sold natural gas at the highest price to Greece. The cost of 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas sold to this country was $1,333.2. It was sold to Georgia at the cheapest price - $134.6 per 1,000 cubic meters. The natural gas sold to Iran cost $40, the same as the natural gas supplied by Iran to Nakhchivan.

During the first 9 months of this year, Azerbaijan purchased natural gas from Turkmenistan and Iran. As we have already mentioned, 66,091.19 thousand cubic meters of gas were purchased from Iran to supply Nakhchivan with natural gas this year, and the customs value of this gas amounted to $2,508.56 thousand ($38 per 1,000 cubic meters). Turkmenistan purchased 614,153.03 thousand cubic meters of gas, the customs value of which amounted to $76,863.47 thousand ($125.1 per 1,000 cubic meters).
It should also be noted that natural gas exports accounted for 41% of total exports and increased sharply compared to previous years. In comparison, natural gas accounted for 20% of total exports in the first 9 months of 2021 and 17% in the first 9 months of 2020.
