During the first 8 months of this year, 1977 live horses were sold from Azerbaijan to foreign countries.
Yeniavaz.com according to published official data reports, that horse exports increased 18 times compared to the same period last year. So, in the first 8 months of 2021, only 111 horses were sold from Azerbaijan abroad.
This year, the average customs value of a horse sold abroad was $175 (297 manat). In the same period last year, horses were sold abroad at a higher price. For the first 8 months of 2021, the average customs value of a horse sold abroad was $222 (377 manat).
For information, the export of live horses (for meat) in Azerbaijan was first launched in 2016, and by September of this year, 13,840 live horses were sold.
