These municipalities were able to collect only 100 manat of tax in a year

Last year, the total income of 1606 municipalities of Azerbaijan amounted to 41 million 654.6 manat.
Yeniavaz.com reports, that 27.7% of revenues (11.5 million manat) fell on the share of 53 municipalities operating in the city of Baku.
For information, that in some regions the annual income of the municipality was less than 100,000 manat.
The total income of 16 municipalities of the Gobustan region amounted to 81 thousand 30 manat. Each municipality received an average of 5,800 manat.
The total income of 19 municipalities of the Dashkesan region amounted to 94,20 manat. Each municipality received an average of 4,900 manat.
Municipal revenues in Lerik were even lower. The total income of 29 municipalities of the Lerik region amounted to 68,80 manat. Each municipality received an average of 2.4 thousand manat.
It should also be noted that 78.6% (54.1 thousand manat) of the 68.8 thousand manat received by the municipalities of Lerik was a subsidy from the state budget. Taxes (land and property) collected by the existing 29 municipalities of Lerik amounted to 2.9 thousand manat. Each municipality collected an average of 100 manat in taxes during the year.
