The name of the private company of the "Kontakt Home" chain of stores is indicated on the website of the government payments portal created by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
Yeniavaz.com reports, that there are numerous chains of stores operating in the retail sector in Azerbaijan. However, it is very interesting that the government payments portal only allows payments to be made to "Kontakt Home".
Currently, the names of 4 institutions are listed in the "Credit" section of the government payments portal. 3 of them are state institutions, and 1 "Kontakt Home".
Although we tried to contact the press service of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan to find out why "Kontakt Home" was included in the Government Payments Portal, they did not return our calls.
For reference, the chain of stores "Kontakt Home" belongs to LLC "ABC-TELECOM". "ABC-TELECOM" LLC (TIN-1401005061) was registered in 2006. Until 2020, MP Elnur Allahverdiyev headed the LLC with an authorized capital of 10,000 manats.
It should also be noted that "Kontakt Home" has been selling Chinese-made "Hoffmann" products to customers under the name of a well-known German brand for many years. Only on 11/15/2021, after the publication of an article about this on the Yeniavaz.com website, on the official website of the "Kontakt Home" chain of stores, phrases such as "German brand", "Made in Germany" were removed from the descriptions of "Hoffmann" products.
