Positions of the Azerbaijani Army have been subjected to intense fire in recent days - MoD

In recent days, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army have come under intense fire by units of the Armenian armed forces on the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border, Yeniavaz.com reports citing the Defense Ministry.
According to information, on the evening of September 5, units of the Armenian armed forces fired at the positions of our Army located in the direction of Zivel and Yellija settlements of Kalbajar district from their positions on the state border located in the direction of Yukhari Shorzha and Azizli settlements of Basarkecher district with various types of firearms:
"Adequate retaliatory measures have been taken by our units in all directions.
We inform that the military and political leadership of Armenia bears all the responsibility for the recent tensions on the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border".
