On October 8, the 30th anniversary meeting of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was held in a video conference format, Azerbaijan’s Prosecutors General’s Office told APA.
Azerbaijan was represented by a delegation led by Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev at the meeting attended by the heads of the CIS prosecutor's offices and the International Association of Prosecutors.
Prosecutor General noted that currently, 26 criminal cases have been launched on the mentioned facts, by the Prosecutor’s General Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, despite it is life-threatening in the site, relevant operational investigative measures are being carried out by prosecutors and investigators. It has been noted that from September 27 until today, as a result of military aggression of Armenia 31 civilians were killed, including 3 children and 9 women, 148 civilians severely injured, in general, 778 residential houses, 117 civilian facilities were destroyed.
