From January to October of this year, district (city) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice registered 40,739 marriages and 17,254 divorces.
Yeniavaz.com reports citing a report published by the State Statistical Committee.
The report states that, compared to the same period last year, the number of marriages per 1,000 population decreased from 4.9 to 4.8, and the number of divorces decreased from 2.1 to 2.0.
